CAD III - Bicycle Transmission
In my CAD III course I took this year, I had to design a bicycle transmission. It took me a week to design my transmission on paper, and another two weeks to successfully design the transmission in Autodesk Inventor software. In doing this project, I spent lots of time making sure to be as accurate as possible, and in the end it payed off as I was able to simulate the real motion the transmission would create.
This project specifically applies to multiple patriot pride expectations.
• Improvement in Skills and Knowledge - In doing this project, I explored and used many advanced features of the Inventor software.
• Technology Application - I built this entire project using Autodesk Inventor, on a computer in the High School's CAD Lab.
• Problem Solving - Designing this transmission to be practical proved to be quite a feat. I ran into many issues and had to solve problems almost every step of the way.
