Enviromental Science Data Lab
During my Junior year, I took an Enviromental Science course to learn more about my enviroment. During my time in the course, I learned a lot of useful information that I will use throughout my entire life. One of the data labs we did in the class was to analyze the relationships between National Parks on Islands and the number of plant and amphibious species the parks contained. We also compared this data to the parks on the mainland and used this data to come to a conclusion about species seperation and the affects of natural isolation.
The following expectations apply:
• Information Acquisition and Evaluation - In order to do this project, we had to take in and understand information about the topic at hand.
• Development and Support for Conclusions - During the course of this project, we had to develop and support our conclusion on whether species seperation and natural isolation affect an ecosystem.
• Organization and Analysis of Data - As you can see below, we organized and analyzed our data using Microsoft Excel.
